Spend time with your pet
Do you have a pet at home? Spend time with your dog or cat. They need your time and shower unconditional love in return. Go for a walk with your pet and play with them.
Connect with your friends
Think of someone who always supports you in bad time. Call or send him an e-mail. You may resist doing this at first because it can be hard to reach out to others when you’re feeling lonely and sad.
Experiment with yourself
You can experiment with things you like such as read your favorite book, watch your favorite programs on TV, or simply sit in your garden or roof-top. You can also experiment with some new dish in the kitchen and see how it turns up.
Listen to music
t works with everyone and every time you feel sad or lonely. Listen to your favorite singers and try to sing with them. It’s almost impossible to feel lonely when you’re singing. Play your favorite number, sit on a chair and close your eyes.
Help someone in need
It could be anyone, be an elderly neighbor near your house or someone on a social media site who needs a supportive comment. Helping others eases loneliness because it takes us out of being so self-focused.
Remind yourself that things change every day
Everyday is a new day. No one is sad or happy forever on this Earth. Things change with each passing day. Life isn’t always fun and it true for everyone. Be patient you will get your share of happiness too.
Do something creative
You don’t need to be painter to paint a picture or a photographer to click a picture. Just do what you feel like doing without thinking much about the outcome. Try coloring a sheet of paper, solve a puzzle or make a collage or experiment with needlework of some kind.
